Founded in 2018 and rooted in Zanesville, SEO CPA Group serves individuals, businesses, and non-profit organizations throughout southeastern and central Ohio.
Our firm offers a full range of services to clients and to the community: auditing and attestation, tax preparation and planning, CFO and consulting services, information technology, third party administrator services, payroll, and bookkeeping.
We are honored by the business relationships we have built and maintained with organizations and individuals across the region. Together the partners bring more than 120 years of experience in the accounting industry, and that depth shows up in the ordinary places — a question answered the same day, a return that doesn't generate a notice, an audit that finishes when we said it would.
The foundation for quality service is people with integrity and genuine expertise who care about their clients' well-being. Our staff are encouraged to specialize in the areas most useful to our clients, through both education and work experience, and to stay current on new accounting and auditing pronouncements, tax law, and proposed regulations as they arrive.
We also perform annual internal reviews to confirm the quality of work performed and compliance with continuing education requirements. It is an unglamorous discipline, and it is the reason our standard of work holds steady year over year.

Grant joined the firm full time after completing his master's degree at Otterbein University, having been with SEO CPA Group since the beginning as an intern. He focuses on tax preparation for individuals, partnerships, and corporations, and supports clients with monthly bookkeeping.

Kayla Runyon
Audit Associate
With the firm since its inception, Kayla is a vital member of the audit team serving non-profit organizations, employee benefit plans, and small businesses. She handles bookkeeping, QuickBooks work, journal entries, and reconciliations, along with reviews, compilations, and agreed-upon procedures. She previously spent two and a half years at Peoples Bank and over five years in public accounting.

Our office sits on Maple Avenue in Zanesville, and our clients reach well beyond it — through Muskingum County and across southeastern and central Ohio. Local presence matters for the work we do: knowing the municipal withholding rules, the regional lenders, and the funders who set reporting requirements is not something you can pick up from a distance.
