CFO & Consulting Services

Fractional CFO, controller, and high-level advisory support — ongoing or for a single project.

Overview

Plenty of growing organizations need CFO-level judgment long before they can justify a CFO-level salary. We fill that gap, stepping in as an outsourced CFO, financial officer, controller, or bookkeeper for as long as the role is genuinely needed.

Engagements range from a standing monthly close and board reporting package to a single, bounded project — a budget rebuild, a loan application, a system conversion, or a succession conversation that has been postponed too many times.

What this engagement includes

  • High-level accounting and consulting
  • Business planning, forecasting, and budgeting
  • Special project consulting
  • Bookkeeping and payroll services
  • IT consulting
  • Accounting system setup and conversion
  • Grant and loan applications (CARES, PPP, ERC, and similar)
  • Succession and estate planning

Questions we're asked

CFO & Consulting Services — frequently asked questions

What is a fractional CFO?

A fractional or outsourced CFO is an experienced financial executive who works with your organization part-time — often a set number of days each month. You get forecasting, cash management, lender and board communication, and strategic guidance without carrying a full-time executive salary.

Is there a minimum commitment?

No. Some clients engage us indefinitely for a monthly close and reporting cycle; others bring us in for one project, such as a budget rebuild or a financing application, and finish there.

Can you work inside our existing accounting software?

Usually, yes. We work extensively in QuickBooks and can assess, clean up, or convert an existing system. If your platform is not serving you, we will say so and scope the conversion rather than working around it indefinitely.

Do you help with business succession?

We do. Succession and estate planning engagements typically start with a valuation-informed look at the business, then work through timing, tax consequences, and the structure that best fits the family or partner group involved.
